The Junior Kindergarten program, run by Regina Vecsey, seeks to nurture a positive and loving relationship with God, to develop the child’s self-confidence, self-esteem, and a positive attitude toward learning through successful, appropriate learning experiences. Spending a year in this program will build a foundation for students to be successful in the transition to Kindergarten. They will learn routines and experience moving in and around the school with other students here.
Our program runs from:
8:40am-3:00 pm, Monday to Friday
(Students must be 4 years old in 2025 to apply)
Our 2025-2026 program is currently full and being waitlisted!
All new registrations are required to be submitted with a $200 deposit
Powell River Christian School is proud to offer a fully licensed care 5-day Junior Kindergarten program. Our facility is inspected by the Powell River Fire department, requiring fire drills once a month. We are also inspected by Community Care Licensing.
You can email the completed form to office@powellriverchristian.com or you can stop by the office and drop off the paper copy of the form. 1 form per student is required along with a $200 deposit, a copy of your child’s birth certificate, and a copy of their immunization records.
